American Weigh Systems is now Amscale

We are pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2022, American Weigh Systems, a sister company, has been converted to and is now operating as a branch office of American Scale & Equipment Co, Inc.

American Weigh Systems is now a part of the American Scale family of companies.

Though we will operate as one company, you can continue to rely on the same administrative staff and field technicians that you have worked with in the past along with new staff members that you may interact in the future.

American Scale & Equipment has been serving the Mid-Atlantic area since 1975 with the largest and most experienced group of technicians in Maryland. ASE has provided exceptional and reliable service to their loyal customers at a competitive rate. As whole, we will continue to focus on quality and emphasize honesty, integrity, and the importance of generating a positive attitude with coworkers and customers. With our combined resources and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, we will be able to serve our customers more effectively and efficiently. The following company details have been provided for your records.

As part of our consolidation, we will be making major updates to our operations and billing software. This will allow us to make better use of technology, automate and streamline workflows, all while reducing paper consumption and human error. We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure you experience only positive changes and see no disruption of service during the implementation process.

  • Nothing less than NIST Handbook 44 Calibration Reporting is provided. Currently we provide Calibration Reports by email in PDF Searchable format. We are working on our new easy-access internet retrieval system that will help you work smarter. American Weigh knows ISO standards as applied to weighing devices and has designed test procedures and reports to reflect our customer’s ISO requirements.
  • Nothing less than ISO/IEC 170253 accredited Calibration Reporting is provided. The highest possible international standard. CESIS4, our new easy-access internet retrieval system helps you work smarter.
  • CECIS+R provides extended reporting and trending of the performance of your scales to make sure your equipment is accurate and ready to work for you at all times.
